Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) announced on the 18th that it signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Kumyang Co., Ltd. on the 15th to effectively utilize educational and industrial resources.
The signing ceremony was attended by President Kim Young-do, Lee Hwa-seok head of industry-academic cooperation, Kim Sung-won head of student welfare, Kim Kyung-hwa head of planning, Lee Tae-sik head of admissions and public relations, Shim Sung-yong secretary-general, Ryu Kwangjy chairman of Kumyang, Jang Seok-young vice chairman, , Lee Hyang-do president and managing director Jang Ho-cheol.
The contents of the agreement include △ operation of a special class on secondary batteries △ operation of internships and joint development of curriculum △ field training and employment support for excellent students in related departments △ cooperation in work according to industry consignment training △ provision of technical information and research materials.
President Kim Young-do said, "Through this agreement, we will actively cooperate to develop Busan's secondary battery industry by cultivating customized manpower."
