Based on the R&D center with researchers and experts in the battery industry who have been in business for a long time, Kumyang has successfully obtained commercial battery quality certifications (CB, LIN38.3, UL) with the production of the self-developed 21700 cylindrical battery in 2022 and the 5.0Ah battery for the 21700 EV in October 2023. The research achievements and technical experience gained during the R&D production process have resulted in a system that produces cylindrical batteries that charge faster, longer, safer and have lower production costs.

After planning the development goal of securing global competitiveness with 46 series cylindrical batteries and devoting day and night to research and development, we succeeded in developing the 4695 cylindrical batteries, the first in Korea, and finally unveiled it in March 2024, proving our superior technology and innovative development capabilities.
