Titanium dioxide is bright white substance with high refractive index and excellent covering capacity and opacity. It gives whiteness and covering capacity to paints, coatings, plastics, paper, ink, food products, medicines, and most toothpastes.

Rutile-Type
Titanium dioxide in the rutile type has high chemical and physical stability. The pigment is in the dense needle-shaped crystal form. It has a high specific gravity and delivers a high degree of polishing and gloss, excellent dispersibility, low oil absorption, outstanding weather resistance and strong covering capacity.
Titanium dioxide in the rutile type is mainly used in building and industrial paints, corrosion-resistant paints, inks, plastics, and coatings.

Anatase-Type

The anatase-type titanium oxide is mainly used as white pigment in paper, paints, toothpastes, plastics, rubber. It is also used for electronic components such as TV (CRT) and electrical condenser, and as a catalyst/photocatalyst, photoinduced electron transfer (PET) reactions, etc.
